Myofascial Pain Syndrome – Integrated Approach
The Singapore Physiotherapy Association is pleased to bring to you another Educational Seminar organised by the Education Committee of SPA.
The topic of discussion is on Physiotherapy for Myofascial Pain Syndrome – Integrated Approach. This talk covers the overview of the issues concerning the myofascial pain syndrome and how to assess the condition holistically and manage it in an integrated way. We are privilege to hear from Mr Michael Yan, a principal physiotherapist with Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Mr Michael Yan graduated with a Master's degree with specialization in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. His interest lies in pain management and sports rehabilitation. He has developed an integrated assessment and treatment model for patients and has consistently generated good results.
