What is the difference between these clinics and getting referral from hospitals? Was thinking, if going through hospitals, there will be ease in gaining access to diagnostics if needed?

usually private physiotherapist work closely with their preferred doctors. Diagnostics can only be done by doctors (although i heard that pte physio can refer for x-ray.. not sure on this, anyone can confirm this?)

If the condition is stable, seeing private clinics is much easier with lesser waiting time, and probably more attention.

If the condition is unstable and requires further investigation, hospitals will be the place to see the specialists.

I know a physiotherapist who can refer for X-ray. His name is Mr Er something... Do you know him?

It will be good for first contact practitioners to be able to refer patients for x-ray to confirm their diagnosis and provide appropriate management

I do refer for X-ray, MRI and Lab FBC test in Malaysia! None of the private medical centre rejected my referral for the above-mentioned!

That's because it's in malaysia. You can get away with alot of things over there.

The question is whether will it be acceptable in singapore?

How do physiotherapists in singapore be first contact practitioners if they are not allowed to sent their patients for x-rays, mri, or further investigations?

Then again, it is expected that the physio should be attending to patients REFERRED by the doctors.. (or not?)
